Released Sep 5th 2014 This second LP was recorded at Vibromonk Studio in Bushwick Brooklyn (Gogol Bordello, Balkan Beatbox) and was produced and mixed by Hank & Cupcakes. The band took an entire year off from touring in order to make this record, following the logic that just as they had thoroughly explored their live performance by playing hundreds of shows, it was only fitting that they take the time to explore and discover their sound in the studio.
NAKED
Released June 2nd 2013. This debut LP was recorded at the legendary Hansa Studios (US, David Bowie, Iggy Pop, REM) in Berlin, Germany and produced by swedish producer Ludwig Boss. The band were signed to a publishing deal with BMG and using the advance they received were able to make this highly danceable record.
B-Side
Released July 2nd 2013. This EP includes all the remaining songs that were recorded at Hansa Studios in Berlin that didn't make it into the Naked album.
Ain't no love
Released Oct 22nd 2012. This EP was released by BMG after signing Hank & Cupcakes to their record label. The band were unhappy with the label who were stalling the release of the NAKED album which subsequently lead to Hank & Cupcakes leaving the label to officially release Naked in 2013 as an emancipated truly 'Indie' band.

Flush with simmering sexuality and irresistible dance pulse, Hank & Cupcakes are everything you would not expect them to be. Named in reference to notorious Charles ‘Hank’ Bukowski and one of his lovers ‘Cupcakes’, this Brooklyn based duo by way of Tel Aviv Israel & Melbourne Australia are the coalescence of rock without guitars and pop without synthesizers.
With their full luscious sound, breathtaking stage personas and the brutal honesty with which they play, Pedal board magician Hank commands an army of pedals with his bass guitar while powerhouse vocalist/drummer Cupcakes dominates the drums standing up while belting out emotive and groove filled vocals, making it difficult to believe there are only two people on stage. Pinpointing down to a certain genre of music is hard with this duo.
With a recklessness reminiscent of Karen O of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, an early RHCP rawness, a fun-punk Ting Tings vibe and a ‘The Kills’ raw rock sex appeal, Hank & Cupcakes are the embodiment of all of those, creating a new hybrid of music motivated by true freedom and boundless limits.
